Welcome

Five reasons fall is the best season:

1. The weather finally gets cooler. Summers in Sacramento can be over 100 degrees for weeks!

2. Leaves changing color. This is a pic of me in Central Park in NYC. 

3. Scarves.

4. October is Filipino American History Month. My parents are Ilocano, from the nothern island of Luzon in the Philippines. I was born and raised in California.

5. My birthday is in October!

I love to write picture books. 

I love to teach fourth grade.

I love my chihuahuas but today is a sad, sad day. I can no longer write that sentence plural as our 15 year old chiweenie, Dolce, passed away. Our other chihuahua Daisy is confused but getting lots of hugs.
